Connect With Sarah Jaeger

Sarah Jaeger joined the NBC25/Fox66 team as a reporter in July 2017, but her love of journalism began over two decades ago.

Before joining NBC25/Fox66, Sarah worked at WNEM in Saginaw and WILX in Lansing, where she reported, anchored, and produced. She’s covered major events as Mayor Kilpatrick’s scandal in Detroit and interviewed celebrities like rock and roll hall of fame band Lynyrd Skynyrd. She’s also won a Broadcast Educators Award for her documentary work.

Sarah earned a Master’s degree in Journalism from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in Intelligence Analysis from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Being a Detroit native, she’s happy to continue her career in the Michigan. Sarah is an avid sports fan and loves cheering on the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys bowling (she’s a former State Champion), running, and spending time with her family exploring the Great Lakes State.
