The Class A Grand Blanc Bobcats boys held off the Class C State Champions Beecher Bucs late to win 74 to 68.

The Carman-Ainsworth boys continued their strong start, beating Heritage in Saginaw 64 to 52.

In our Hometown Hoops Game of the Week, Bridgeport made a statement, going into Frankenmuth and beating the Eagles 68-54.

The Flushing boys moved over .500 with a win over Flint Metro League foe Linden 54-48.

The Heritage girls made a statement against Carman-Ainsworth, jumping out to a 34-14 first half lead. They held off the Cavaliers in the second half, going on to win 60-44.

In Flint Metro League action, the Holly and Fenton girls battled throughout, the Bronchos going on to win 40-36.

In the Jack Pine Conference, Gladwin girls stayed at the top by making a statement, beating Clare 51-28.

Elsewhere in the Jack Pine, Beaverton girls beat Meridian 55-36.

In Tri-Valley action, Alma girls beat Swan Valley 38-28.

Tom and Jeanna award their first buzzer beaters of 2018. A big dunk caught Tom's eye, while another solid performance beat the buzzer for Jeanna.
