Roundabout construction begins in Grand Blanc Township
GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Construction began Monday on a new roundabout in Grand Blanc Township.
The roundabout is being constructed at the intersection of Hill and Belsay Roads.
During construction, the intersection will remain closed.
Detours have been posted for drivers instructing them to use alternate routes on Perry, Irish, Bristol and Center Roads.
Many motorists were caught off-guard by the road closure, which caused minor traffic disruptions.
Construction is expected to wrap up by July 30, according to the Genesee County Road Commission.
