Restoration projects, economic impacts key topics of CMU Board of Trustees meeting
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. --Central Michigan University leaders say the school has had a great impact on Michigan’s economy.
The board of trustees held their final meeting of 2017.
They discussed upcoming restoration projects including work on the field hockey turf.
Officials say the university is a powerhouse when it comes to jobs and the economy.
The board of trustees also spoke about some of the recent changes affecting higher education.
They said they are dealing with it and will continue to advance excellence.
