Police: Person of interest taken into custody at scene of critical shooting in Flint

FLINT, Mich. --Flint Police say a 25-year-old man is in critical condition following a shooting.

The shooting happened around noon Saturday in the 1600 block of Liberty Street.

Police say the victim was taken to a local hospital, and the suspect was present when police arrived at the scene.

That person was then taken into custody.
