BAY CITY, Mich. – A Saginaw woman faces the possibility of spending life behind bars after being arraigned Friday on a charge of armed robbery and fleeing and eluding police.
24-year-old Terryn Sangster was arraigned in Bay City District Court in connection with Thursday’s holdup of a Bay City convenience store.
Police say after the robbery took place, Sangster sped off on M-13 and led police on a chase that ended after she lost control of her vehicle and took off on foot near the Zilwaukee Bridge.
She was found about two hours later hiding in a nearby drainage tube.
Bond was set at $50,000. A preliminary exam is set for next month.
