Pedestrian crash causes closure of Pierson Road in Flint

UPDATE: (April 4, 2018, 9:20 a.m.) Flint Police say the pedestrian injured while crossing West Pierson Road on Tuesday night is in critical condition after a hit-and-run incident.

Investigators say the victim was crossing the road when an unknown vehicle struck him and left the scene. Anyone with information that might help police find the hit-and-run driver should contact Sgt. Cholyonda Brown at (810) 237-6899 or Ofc. Justin McLeod at (810) 237-6811.

FLINT, Mich. – A crash involving a pedestrian has caused the closure of West Pierson Road in Flint.

It happened just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night between Dupont Street and Longfellow Avenue.

Police could be scene investigating the section of closed road.

The injured pedestrian was taken to a local hospital.

No word was given on their condition.
