Voters in one Midland County school district will soon vote on a new $20 million bond.

The bond would fund multiple projects at the Meridian Public Schools in Sanford.

The superintendent says the bond would pay for an additional high school gym, an auditorium along with replacement of portable classrooms with permanent ones at the elementary school.

The vote on that bond happens on election day Tuesday, November 7.

If approved, it would mean a 1.18 mills tax increase.
