MSP identify victims of double homicide in Tuscola County

TUSCOLA COUNTY, Mich. --Michigan State Police have identified 45-year-old Peter Brodick and 55-year-old Wendy Brodick as the two homicide victims discovered in Tuscola County.

Michigan State Police Lieutenant David Kaiser said Peter Brodick was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds on Friday, March 30 in the 9800 block of Boucher Road in Watertown Township.

Lieutenant Kaiser said that Wendy Burdick’s body was not discovered until Sunday, April 1.

Her body was found near a silo on property located in Millington Township.

The Michigan State Police Crime Lab was called to the scene in the 3900 block of Millington Road on Sunday afternoon to investigate.

Michigan State Police troopers have also interviewed a person of interest, and then took them into custody; the 36-year-old suspect is currently being held in the Tuscola County Jail. Charges are pending against this individual.

MSP has also been working with Tuscola County Prosecutor Mark Reene and have executed several search warrants.

The suspect is expected to be formally charged next week.
