Mott DPS officers track down hit-and-run suspect in Flint
FLINT, Mich. --A 32-year-old man is in the hospital following a hit-and-run crash.
It happened Monday, July 16 just before 6 p.m. near north Franklin Avenue and Broadway Boulevard.
Police investigation shows that a man riding a homemade go-cart heading southbound on North Franklin Avenue when he was struck from behind by a man driving a Cadillac CTS.
The driver of the Cadillac left the scene, but was later found in the 300 block of Walnut Street.
The suspect was taken into custody by the Mott Department of Public Safety Officers.
The suspect was then lodged in Flint City lockup on several warrants.
The investigation is ongoing.
