Moms turn Dow Diamond stands orange in honor of National Gun Violence Day
MIDLAND, Mich. --Moms dressed in head to toe orange in honor of Gun Violence Awareness.
In Saginaw, Jackie Jones threw out the first pitch at the Great Lakes Loons game Saturday after tragedy hit home.
Jones’ son and nephew were killed due to gun violence.
Jones was part of the Moms Demand Action Group at the ballpark.
Their website says “It's not about gun control, it's about gun safety.”
Similar events were held all over the country today, to educate people in a non-partisan way.
