German theater group comes to Linden for free performance
Performing arts lovers are getting ready for a music filled night.
A German group is in town for a performance.
They've gone across the Midwest.
The latest performance brings them to Linden High School.
The theatre group of the Kaiser Karl School will put on a free opera.
Linden businesses pulled together with donations to make this happen.
Several host families also stepped up to house the performers.
The community is excited.
“It's something different in the middle of summer and it's an exposure to something the community might not have been exposed to,” Sue Turpen said.
“I have two children and they're excited to get to know these individuals and what it's like to be on tour. Some of those smaller valuable exchanges," Danielle Sorum said.
That free performance is at 7 P.M. at Linden High School on July 17, 2018.
