The Flint Water Festival took over Riverbank Park throughout the afternoon and early evening on the Fourth of July. Hundreds packed in to see live performances from local musicians, bounce houses, face painting, and even a raffle to raise money for future events. Flint Water Festival Organizer Kay Smith says the event helps bring the community together in a positive way.

“We have so many challenges in the community, from violence to the water crisis, that I just wanted to create a sense of family. Bring everyone together so we can all support each other through these tough time,” Smith says.
