Flint forums help residents, students identify signs of human trafficking
FLINT, Mich. – An 'identifying human trafficking' forum was held Wednesday at Flint's Southwestern Academy.
Genesee County Commissioner Brenda Clack along with the Flint area links and Doctor Brenda Rogers-Grays hosted the event .
It was a way to teach the public the signs of human trafficking.
"It's going on and people don't realize it, so we've got to caution our young girls and boys, it's not just the girls, it's girls and boys, to look out for these characters who are proposing something good, but the end result is bad,” said Clack.
If you missed the forum, there will be another at Northwestern High School on April 25 at 1:50 p.m.
