Dangerous wind chills through Sunday morning

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for most of mid-Michigan through Sunday morning.

If you're going outside Saturday night or early Sunday, you will want to bundle up.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Genesee, Saginaw, Bay, Midland, Shiawassee, Tuscola, Huron, Lapeer, and Sanilac counties.

Temperatures will drop from zero to 10 degrees below zero on Saturday night.

When you factor in a light wind, the wind chills will feel closer to 15 degrees below zero.

Frostbite can occur on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

A Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect for eastern Huron and Sanilac counties where 3-6" of lake effect snow may fall Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
