Charges sworn out against trio who assaulted 93-year-old woman in Saginaw

SAGINAW, Mich. --Charges have been sworn out against three people in Saginaw in connection to an assault and burglary in Saginaw, according to the Saginaw Police Department.

Their charges include:

  • First-degree home invasion
  • General conspiracy
  • Assault with intent to murder

The suspects are 16, 18 and 21 years of age.

The assault and burglary took place around 2 a.m. Sunday, April 30 in the 1400 block of Acacia Street in Saginaw.

The victim, a 93-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The trio are expected to be arraigned on Monday morning.
