Flint, Mich-- The Vehicle City Fashion Show is one of the biggest fashion events to hit mid-Michigan.

The founder, Kala Wilburn had the vision for the event after losing her 22-year-old brother Antonio Anthony to gun violence in 2011.

"He was just so creative and loved music and art. I wanted to do something to pay homage to him and allow conversations about violence," says Wilburn.

The fashion show is the last hoorah after a week of fashion inspired workshops. The show will feature fashion created by local designers and entertainment.

For more information about the show click here and for tickets, you can purchase them here or at the door. On Friday there is a free networking and panel event that takes place at the Ferris Wheel at 6 p.m.

The show takes place on November 18 at 6 p.m. at Factory Two in Flint.

NBC25'S Courtney Wheaton will be hosting this year's event.
