FLINT, Mich. --Some new police officers could be hitting the streets in the near future after graduating from Mott Community College.

The recruits went through an intensive 16-week program to prepare students for the law enforcement licensing exam.

The academy holds two sessions a year.

Flint Police Chief Tim Johnson says this is a positive program for the city.
