Mott Community College offering free portraits

FLINT, Mich. -- Mott Community College students, faculty and staff want to help make the holidays picture perfect.

They're offering free, professional-quality portraits on Saturday, Dec. 2.

Sessions are open to the public with no appointment necessary.

"The Help Portrait event is all about giving back to the community," said organizer Bob Rentschler.

The college shot almost 200 photo sessions last year.

Everyone gets an 8X10 print and digital copy of their photos.

Cosmetology students will also be on hand for hair and makeup touch-ups.

The sixth annual MCC Help Portrait event will run on Saturday, Dec. 2 from noon to 4 p.m. at 1401 E. Court Street.

"Our goal is to make every person who walks through the door feel special from start to finish," Rentschler said.
