Miranda Parnell joined the NBC25/FOX66 in June of 2015 after working as a reporter at WRDW in Augusta, Georgia. She got her start in Augusta working as the Breaking News Reporter for the morning show.
Miranda finished her time at WRDW covering her own beat as the Aiken County Bureau Reporter. She's covered stories that range from the capital murder trial of Stephon Carter, to an 18-wheeler falling into the Augusta canal.
Miranda grew up in Blythewood, South Carolina- a tiny town just outside of the state capitol. She has a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalist with a minor in Spanish from the University of South Carolina. While at USC, Miranda worked as a freelance agent for ESPN and interned at the CW47 and FOX 57.
During her sophomore year of college, Miranda was able to see how news operates from coast to coast when she completed a year in the National Student Exchange at California State University, Northridge.
When she isn't digging up a story, Miranda likes exploring new places, finding delicious food, and putting together the perfect playlist before hitting the gym.
