Thousands flock to Delta College's STEM Festival

Delta College opened its doors to scientists of all ages for their annual STEM Festival. (WEYI)

BAY COUNTY, Mich. --Delta College opened its doors to scientists of all ages for their annual STEM Festival.

The school was filled with over 140 hands-on activities from creating origami to driving robots.

The program hopes to help keep students engaged while building their knowledge about science and technology.

The kids also saw a nitrogen bomb explosion.

Thousands of kids come to this each year.

Delta College also has what's called the Stem Explorer, an RV that's taken to events year round to share information about stem careers as well.
