Special fundraiser started for residents displaced by fire in Midland County
MIDLAND, Mich. -The United Way of Midland County have set up a special fund for the residents of the Greenhill Apartment building after the building was damaged by a fire one week ago.
Anyone wishing to help the victims can donate to the fund established by the United Way or they can drop off donations at their west main street location in Midland.
They are accepting household items like bed sheets, towels and cleaning supplies.
Papa John’s in Midland will also donate 30 percent of all orders to the United Way Greenhill fund this Wednesday.
People were told that it would be three to four weeks before they can move back into the building.
