Pot regulation ordinance approved, proposed bridge toll still up in the air in Bay City
BAY CITY, Mich. --The Bay City Commission has approved an ordinance to regulate medical marijuana facilities in the city.
The ordinance approved Monday night is a bit different than the original plan.
It would allow 25 class A, B And C grower permits, in addition to 25 licenses each for dispensary -- transporter, processors and safety compliance facilities.
That's an increase from five licenses for each category.
But the future of medical marijuana wasn't the only issue on people's minds in Bay City.
The future of the city's bridges, and the possibility of a toll, is front and center.
