April may be Autism Awareness month but one Mid-Michigan museum has a special night once a month dedicated to families with autistic children.

Every third Tuesday of the month, the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum co-hosts Autism Family Nights with Spectrum and the Great Lakes Bay Autism Centers.

Where the kids on the autism spectrum can enjoy the museum after hours for free.

And parents and caregivers participate in a support group; it’s all possible thanks to a $13,000 donation from the Bay Area Community Foundation.
