MSP searching for man following wrong-way chase in Saginaw
The Michigan State Police are still looking for 24-year-old Alvino Rodriguez, who is said to have led police on a wrong way chase Wednesday morning, according to Lieutenant David Kaiser.
It happened just before noon as MSP tried to stop a car in the area of North Michigan Avenue and Madison Street.
Instead of stopping, the vehicle kept going on North Michigan Avenue onto Davenport Avenue, and then continued onto Johnson Street.
From there, they went up the I-675 ramp at Fitzhugh Street and started driving north in the southbound lanes, according to Kaiser.
When the vehicle finally stopped on the shoulder of the highway near McCarty, both of the men got out of the car and ran, according to Kaiser.
The passenger was caught and arrested, but the driver, who is a parole absconder, is still at large, according to Kaiser.
