SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Mich. --Michigan State Police Lieutenant David Kaiser says what originally started as a domestic dispute in Saginaw County ended with a head-on crash in Shiawassee County.

Troopers received a call about a woman shooting at a man in a possible domestic dispute.

From there, they both got into a vehicle and travelled south on M-13.

A deputy spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop near M-13 and westbound I-69.

The vehicle stopped, and the woman got out of the car, and then the man took off.

A few minutes later, a deputy spotted a head-on crash.

Lieutenant Kaiser says the man who sped off from the traffic stop hit a car head-on, killing the driver.
