More than 300 kids take to the court for Flint youth basketball program
FLINT, Mich. --Saturday was tip-off for a Flint-run youth basketball program that returned after more than 15 years.
We're told 300 youngsters signed up to play on 30 different teams.
Games for middle and high school players were at the Cathedral of Faith Ministries.
Elementary students played at Eagles Nest Academy.
Organizers say everyone is happy the free program has returned.
There will be eight weeks of games, followed by two weeks of playoffs.
