The snow begins before sunrise on Sunday, and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. through 4 p.m.

Heaviest snow is expected from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Total snowfall is expected to reach 3 to 6 inches in Flint and the Thumb, up through the Tri-Cities and in to our northern counties.

3-6 expected as far west as Mount Pleasant and north in to Clare.

2-4 inches are expected through our northern counties including Ogemaw, Iosco, and northern Arenac and Gladwin counties.
