Man trying to flee police, crashes vehicle in Saginaw

SAGINAW, Mich. - A man wanted on several felony charges crashes after trying to flee from police.

Saginaw Township Police say they were requested by Michigan State Police Detectives to help assist in apprehending a man wanted on felony charges at the Camelot Apartments in Saginaw Township.

When officers arrived the man got into a vehicle and fled the scene. Police say the man lost control and crashed on Holmes Street near West Michigan Avenue in the city of Saginaw. Afterwards, the man was taken into custody.

Saginaw City police also assisted at the scene.
