FLINT, Mich. - Local law enforcement had the chance to address what's going on in Flint Friday afternoon at the weekly Flint Rotary Club meeting.

Special guests Sheriff Robert Pickell and Police Chief Tim Johnson spoke at the meeting.

They spoke about what they're doing in the community to combat crime and how measures have improved.

"I think some of the individuals that come into this city, they can't believe the stats we are pulling off out of this city with what we have to work with. But we have a lot of dedicated Flint Police Officers and we are holding them to the task, said Johnson

Johnson also says right now solvency rates are up at 80 percent compared to years past when they were only at 50 percent.
