Information session highlights work of Flint’s philanthropic organizations
FLINT, Mich. --A community informational session took place at Flint Northwestern.
It's centered around funding given to Flint to fight the water crisis.
Both the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and the Ruth Mott Foundation are sharing how they used donations given to the city to provide services and resources to residents.
“I think very interesting the work that the community foundation has done over the last couple of years the way we plan to get the dollars out to the community over time,” said Isaiah Oliver.
Oliver tells us the foundation has spent more than $32 million to assist with the crisis.
The event is free and open to the public.
