Home invasion leads to police chase, crash in Flint

FLINT, Mich. -- Police say a home invasion leads to a police chase and ends in a vehicle crash in Flint.

The crash took place around 11:30 a.m. on West Court Street and Vosburg Street near Corunna Road in Flint.

Police they were called to a home invasion on Lincoln Drive. When officers arrived at the scene they saw a black car that fit the description of the home invasion.

Officers say that is when the pursuit began. The black car driven by the suspect, trying to get away, did a U-turn and hit a silver car on Court Street.

Officers say they pulled a woman from the silver car which was smoking and taken to an area hospital with injuries.

The suspect in the chase was arrested and taken to an area hospital with injuries.

Police say this case is still under investigation.
