Free Major League Baseball event for kids coming to Flint

FLINT, Mich. - Major League Baseball is coming to Flint!

In a cooperative effort between the city and Jackson Park RBI, Major League Baseball will host ‘Play Ball’ in Hardenbrook Park at 310 E. Jackson Avenue in Flint.

The event will be held Saturday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m., but registration begins at 11:45 a.m.

The goal of the ‘Play Ball’ event is to give more kids an opportunity to play the game of baseball in a number of different forms in a fun and active environment.

Representatives from the Detroit Tigers are also scheduled to attend.

The event is free and open to children of all ages and skill levels.
