It’s not uncommon to see large crowds walking down the sidewalks along Main Street in Frankenmuth. But it’s quite a sight to see thousands of cars with thousands of people walking in Main Street. That’s what it looked like downtown on Friday for the kick off of the Frankenmuth Auto Fest. The event which will last through Sunday will have all of the sights and sounds a car lover would be looking for. One of those rare sights would be a one of a kind car creation made by Don Stanley from Bay City.

“My car was made with pieces from 38 different cars. The oldest part is from a 1938 Chevy, and the newest would be the back section which came off of a 1958 Cadillac,” Stanley says.
