In the face of incredible sadness and stress, a Flint mother says she's finding peace, following the death of her baby.

Gabrielle Kent says ""he's fine, he's whole again, he's where I'm trying to go".

8 month old Micah, was in a car seat on Tuesday when their car was rear-ended.

The impact was just too much, and Micah died shortly after the crash.

The baby's grandmother, Brenda Luckado says "when you change his pamper he's just, oh my goodness he's so hyperactive. (in tears) That was his favorite thing right there......"

His mom, Gabrielle is now wearing a neck brace.

She works at Kingdom Care Day Care, where her 2 other children: 6 year old Gabriel and 2 year old Emmanuel, were with her today.

Emmanuel was also in a car seat during the crash, but was not hurt.

Gabrielle says baby Micah's life was cut way too short.

Gabrielle says "he seemed perfect, he was advanced he was bright, he was the type of baby anyone would want. He was loved."

As for the suspect who police say may have been on drugs when he caused the crash that killed Micha, Gabrielle says she holds no grudge..

Gabrielle says "I'm upset but i'm O-K. I forgive him. I'm not even mad at him"

The man accused of causing the accident remains in the Genesee County Jail, awaiting formal charges.

Funeral arrangements for young Micah can be found here.
