FEMA opening Disaster Recovery Center in Midland

MIDLAND, Mich. -More help is on the way for flooding victims in Midland County.

A new disaster recovery center has just opened, according to a news release.

Representatives from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be at the center to answer questions about disaster assistance and to provide information on low-interest disaster loans.

It's located at 1407 West Carpenter Street in Midland.

The center opened at noon Wednesday but will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

It is also recommended that residents register with FEMA before visiting the recovery center.
