Emotions are running high after a young mother who was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Flint.

Anger, as well as grief, are other emotions that her loved ones are feeling too.

They gathered together to honor her life that was cut too short Sunday evening.

Flint Police are continuing to investigate what led up to the shooting of 21-year-old Kenasha Thomas.

There were what seemed to be hundreds of people at Max Brandon Park to say goodbye to Kenasha.

Members of her family are hoping for some justice.

Tonight people who knew Kenasha, including Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields stopped by the vigil to share memories.

Police say there are no suspects at this time, and anyone with information should call Flint Police at 810-237-6800.
