FLINT, Mich. --People are also coming together to help a family who lost everything in Hurricane Harvey.

A fundraiser was held for TJ and Markala Vance at Sherman’s Lounge.

The Flint natives who now live in Texas were rescued from their roof during the storm.

They are expecting a baby in February and ended up losing everything and didn't have flood insurance.

Organizers for the fundraiser say they are amazed by all the support.

The fundraiser included a 50/50 raffles, gift baskets, and more to help the family.
