FLINT, Mich. - An early Christmas present was delivered for the kids at the YMCA in Flint all the way from Colorado.

Dozens of musical instruments were donated by Chase the Music, a non-profit out of Colorado whose mission is to help children explore the world of music.

The donations will be used in Flint's free after school program called Y Safe Places.

"This is overwhelming like I said before as these wonderful people from Colorado began to bring these instruments in to not only enhance the city of Flint it was a tear jerker a moving moment for me just to see something that I’ve prayed for so long start to come to fruition," said Cathedral of Faith pastor Chris Martin.

Former Flint athlete and professional football player, Andre Rison, helped connect Chase the Music to the YMCA in Flint.
