Charges issues against 8 people following 2 Saginaw homicides in 2017

SAGINAW, Mich. --Eight people have been charged for their alleged roles in two homicides that took place in Saginaw back in 2017.

Out of the group of eight, six of them are charged with first-degree premeditated murder in one or the other homicide, one is charged with first-degree premeditated murder in both cases and another is charged with aiding one of the alleged killers.

The charges stem from the deaths of 41-year-old Willie Dawson and 54-year-old Shlindrill Bonita Lewis.

Four of the accused were arraigned Wednesday, March 7.

Forty-one-year-old Troy Lee-Jabbar McClain Jr. and 27-year-old Benjamin Roy Daly were arraigned on charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree premeditated murder, first-degree premeditated murder and various firearm offenses in connection with Dawson’s death.

Additionally, Tamaris Dabar Jones and Antonio Michael Moore, both 23, were arraigned on charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree premeditated murder, first-degree premeditated murder and various firearm offenses.

Bond was denied for all four men.

Another man who has not yet been arraigned is charged with conspiracy as well as premeditated murder in both of the homicides.

According to the felony complaint released by the Saginaw Police, the man was solicited by a woman to commit two more homicides.

The woman, who also not been arraigned is charged with two counts of solicitation of murder, a potential life offense, and accessory after the fact.
