FLINT, Mich. -The CANUSA games began in Flint on Friday.
Athletes paraded in and the torch was lit, symbolizing the opening of the 60th year of the games.
The games foster a friendship between Hamilton, Ontario and Flint.
Nearly 1,500 athletes are in town this weekend to compete in 16 different activities.
The co-chairman of the CANUSA Games says USA typically wins at basketball and the Canadians do well at hockey, but anything could happen.
