3 burglars caught on camera breaking into pharmacy in Commerce Township
Oakland County Sheriff's Office needs the public's help to identify three burglary suspects caught on camera breaking into a pharmacy in Commerce Township.
The burglary took place around 2:20 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 11 at Commerce Family Pharmacy on the 2000 block of Union Lake Road.
Deputies say they were called to the pharmacy for a commercial burglary alarm. When deputies arrived at the scene they found that the front door had been pried open and the business had been ransacked.
Deputies say they checked the interior of the business for any suspects possibly still inside. Deputies say the building checked clear and no suspect was found.
According to deputies, the business owner confirmed that only $50 was taken from the cash register, which had been pried open by the suspects.
Deputies say the pharmacy is a new business to the area and has not been stocked with any prescription drugs.
Deputies say the business owner was able to pull footage from the surveillance cameras of the burglary.
In the video, three suspects can be seen inside the pharmacy. Deputies say two of them seem to be black males and it appears that the suspects arrive at the pharmacy in two separate cars.
Deputies say the suspects are seen wearing hats, gloves, and masks. The suspects fled the area in the same two vehicles. The vehicles are described as a dark-colored sedan and a white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe.
