Father, daughter dead following crash on westbound I-69
FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- UPDATE: Flint Township Police have confirmed that a 27-year-old Davison man and his three-year-old daughter have died as a result of a four-car crash in Flint Township.
It happened on on westbound I-69 at Bristol Road at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Police say Cody Thomas and his daughter were passengers in one of the cars involved.
Three others were injured. Their conditions ranged from minor to serious.
The crash involved a semi and three passenger vehicles. It unclear what caused the crash, but police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
Police say the driver of the semi is currently being lodged in the Genesee County Jail while the incident is being investigated.
The case will be forwarded to the Genesee County Prosecutor for review.
