MSP: 3 shot, two dead following early morning shooting

Flint, Mich-- ***UPDATE***

Michigan State Police Lieutenant Kaiser confirms that three people were shot and two are dead following the early morning shooting.

He says the third victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is in good condition.

There is no suspect information at this time.


Flint Police have confirmed that the shooting is a double homicide.


Police say a shooting happened on Dartmouth on Flint's west side around three on Monday morning.

The victims are both males, but their ages and identities have not been released at this time.

According to witnesses, 20 to 30 shots rang out before police arrived.

One victim died at the scene and the other was sent to the hospital where he later died.

Detectives with Flint Police say they do not have a motive at this time and will release more information as it becomes available.
