Flint, Mich-- A night of wine, art and fundraising will take place this Saturday at the Flint Institute of Arts.
The event is called "An Evening of Wine and Roses" and hundreds are expected to attend.
The fundraiser is a partnership between FIA and the Junior League of Flint.
"The Junior League of Flint is a women's organization that focuses its efforts on volunteerism and empowerment," said Junior League President, Cathy Gentry.
This year the Junior League will give a portion of their proceeds to one of their community partners, YWCA.
"When I found out we were selected I was thrilled. This money will be used in our new sexual assault center that helps victims of abuse," said YWCA president, Heidi McAra.
FIA will use its portion of the proceeds for exhibitions and special programming.
"This fundraiser gives us a chance to show off all of our cool artwork as well as bring new and exciting exhibitions to the museum," said FIA Marketing Coordinator, Chene Koppitz.
Tickets are $75 and can be purchased here.
The main event starts at 7 p.m. at the Flint Institute of Arts with a VIP event kicking off right before at 6:30 p.m.
