Flint mayoral candidate Kincaid receives union endorsements
FLINT, Mich. - With less than a month before the Flint mayoral recall election, several unions throwing their support to one of the candidates today.
Unions including Building Tradesmen, Flint Municipal Workers and Autoworkers announced their endorsement of Scott Kincaid.
Seventeen candidates are running against mayor Weaver in the November 7th recall election.
We asked Kincaid why he thinks he's the best candidate for the job.
"I think because I demonstrated over the years that I support working families and working families in Flint for the majority are represented by the union,” Kincaid said.
Kincaid says if elected he has several issues he wants to confront including police response time and high water rates.
