Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce hosts 10th annual Jumpstart Entrepreneur Conference
Flint, Mich-- Expanding or creating a business can seem daunting, but with the right tools anything is possible.
That's what organizers with the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce want people to know after leaving the 10th Annual Jumpstart Entrepreneur Conference.
This year's Keynote speaker, David Ollila is the President of Skypoint Ventures, a new business helping locals entrepreneurs build and brand their ideas.
Conference goers will have the chance to attend several breakout sessions that include topics such as social media marketing, socio-economic impact on government contracting, and applying for a loan.
"We want people to realize that they can own a business. You don't have to be rich or have a business degree to start or expand your business," said Director of Core Initiatives, Kyle McCree.
The event takes place this Thursday at the Holiday Inn Gateway Centre from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 dollars and 10 for students with IDs.
